Complaints
Last updated: August 2026
We take complaints seriously and want a fair, straightforward way to raise them. This page explains what a complaint covers, how to make one, and what happens next.
What a complaint covers
Use this process if you have a concern about how we work, such as:
- The fairness or tone of a review or ranking
- How a partnership or affiliate relationship was handled or disclosed
- Editorial conduct more generally
- How we handle your data or privacy
What isn’t a complaint
Some issues are handled through other channels and will be faster to resolve there:
- A factual error on a page — a wrong detail, an outdated figure, or a broken or mislinked product — goes through our corrections process. Email corrections@gardenandhomereviews.com with the page URL, what’s wrong and what it should say. See our Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy for details.
- A problem with an order — a missing, damaged, incorrect, late or unrefunded item, or anything about payment or delivery — is handled by Amazon, not by us. We sell nothing and have no access to your orders, so we cannot resolve product, order or delivery complaints. Please contact Amazon Customer Service through your account.
How to raise a complaint
Email hello@gardenandhomereviews.com with the subject line “Complaint”, and include:
- What happened — the page or situation involved and why you’re concerned
- The outcome you’re seeking
What happens next
- We’ll acknowledge your complaint when we receive it.
- It will be reviewed by our editorial team.
- You’ll receive a direct response explaining our findings and any action we’re taking.
- We aim to respond within about five business days. More complex matters may take a little longer, and we’ll let you know if so.
If you’re not satisfied
If you don’t feel your complaint has been resolved, reply to our response and ask for it to be escalated. A senior editor will take a fresh look and reply to you directly.
For related information, see our Editorial Standards or reach us any time via the Contact page.
